We are a husband and wife team of TICO Certified Travel Agents.  We are home based agents operating proudly as an affiliate of

Northstar Travel & Associates in Kitchener, Ontario.

Lori is our in house Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialist while Paul specializes in Cruises.

Between the two of us, we have extensive knowledge and expertise in Group Travel, All Inclusive Packages and building custom itineraries.

  • Where are you located?
    We are home based Travel Agents servicing Ontario, CANADA and other Canadian provinces. We don't have a physical location but we make ourselves available via phone, email, Zoom and through our Social Media Channels.
  • What are your Hours of Operation?
    While our Book Your Own is available to use 24 Hours a day, 7 Days a week, our agents do have set hours to assist you. You can see our hours a little further down the page.
  • What if I need to Cancel my booking?
    We do offer Cancellation Insurance (optional but highly recommended) on our packages. If you have purchased this insurance (which is non-refundable) changing or canceling your vacation can be done through one of our agents depending on how close to departure you make your request and which Insurance Package you purchased. If you declined to purchase the Change/Cancelation Insurance at the time of booking you need to contact us immediately as we may be able to help but there are no guarantees. *fees may apply for changes and/or cancellation
  • Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
    In some cases this may be possible but it is best to talk to one of our agents about your booking and circumstances. *change fees may apply
  • What's included in my All-Inclusive Package?
    As long as you've purchased an All-Inclusive package through one of our suppliers like Sunwing, Air Transat, Air Canada Vacations or WestJet Vacations, your package will include: Roundtrip Airfare, Hotel Transfers and Hotel Stay (including all food and beverages) Depending on the resort, there may be additional fees for Specialty restaurants and other on site amenities. It is important to make sure you're booking a package and not just an all-inclusive resort as doing so will not include flights or transfers.
  • What if I make a mistake while inputting Passenger details in book your own?
    It is important to double check that all information is inputted correctly at the time of booking but mistakes do happen. If you make a mistake during the booking process; please contact us immediately so we can make the necessary adjustments to your booking. We cannot make changes to a booking that does not belong to us so make sure to select Paul Birch OR Lori Birch during the booking process. *change fees may apply
  • How do I find the travel requirements for my destination?
    There are 2 ways you can do this. First, we do recommend working with one of our TICO Certified Travel agents who can work with you and ensure your travel plans and booking go smoothly. The second way is to follow this link: Sherpa If you are still unsure, please contact us as soon as possible.
  • Why did my Agent ask me about my Budget?
    When one of our Agents asks you about your budget it is to ensure we find you the best options possible without breaking the bank. Knowing what you're comfortable spending helps us weed out places that don't match your criteria whether it's taking out 3 star resorts or searching for 4 star or lower this information is very helpful. Would you search for a new home without discussing budget with your realtor?
  • What if I have a Travel Credit?
    If you have a travel credit issued in your name that is not assigned to a different agent/agency, in most cases we can apply this to any booking made through us.
  • How can I get a Quote for a Destination Wedding?
    Congratulations on your engagement!!   • What is the best place for a Honeymoon?
    What's good for you may not be good for someone else. In order to match you with the resort and destination that's best for you it is important to talk to our Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialist as she can match you, your criteria and budget with the Best Resort for you.   • How can I pay for my Vacation or Cruise Package?
    You have the option to pay your balance in full at the time of booking and in some cases, there is a discount for doing so. You can also place a deposit on the booking (based on travel dates) and pay the balance on or before the due date. This option is popular as it gives you the flexibility to pay smaller amounts up to and including the due date. In some cases, you will have the option to Book Now and Pay Later. When doing this in Book Your Own, please be aware of important dates and the terms and conditions associated with this booking. Financing is also available and offered through our partners at Uplift. They use simple interest and we can send you the information should you require this option. When booking your own, please be aware that deposit amounts may be non-refundable
  • How do I add Drink Packages and Excursions to my Cruise Package?
    Depending on which cruise line you choose, Drink Packages may be added during the booking process. In most cases however, these packages and excursions will be added after you've booked but prior to embarkation. It is best to talk to Paul, our Cruise Specialist. He can provide you with Free Quotes, drink package pricing and even give you some digital brochures to help you in making your decision.
  • Are flights included in my Cruise Quote?
    Flights are not included in the cruise rates but we can provide you with quotes for flights, pre cruise hotel stays and other transportation if needed.

Paul made all of our plans for us for our trip to Portugal. This included all flights, accommodations, vehicle rentals and even seat bookings. This guy does it all and super fast!
